The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a government-funded program designed to make dental care more accessible and affordable for uninsured Canadians.
Starting June 1, 2025 – Coverage Expanded to All Age Groups
The CDCP provides essential dental services to those who need it most. You may be eligible if you are:
- A child under 18
- A senior aged 65 or older
- An adult aged 18–64 (eligible starting June 1, 2025)

Do You Qualify?
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), you must meet all of the following:
- You do not have access to dental insurance
- You (and your spouse or common-law partner, if applicable) have filed your taxes in Canada for the previous year
- Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes
